Aurogreen

AUROGREEN (Indocyanine Green 25mg) is a diagnostic ophthalmic dye containing indocyanine green (ICG), used primarily for retinal and choroidal angiography. Supplied as a sterile lyophilized powder (25 mg vial), the dye is reconstituted to create a 0.5% solution for injection, allowing clear visualization of blood vessels and tissue perfusion during ophthalmic procedures. Its low iodide content minimizes allergy risk, and its superior diffusion aids in detecting disorders such as age-related macular degeneration, choroidal neovascularization, and pigment epithelial detachments.

USER-FRIENDLY PREPARATION:

1. Reconstitution: Mix 25 mg of Aurogreen with 5 ml of sterile water for injection. Shake well for at least 3 minutes to achieve a 0.5% solution.
2. Filtering: Withdraw the solution through a sterile 0.2-micron syringe filter to remove undissolved dye particles.
3. Injection: Attach a fresh sterile 23-gauge needle and inject intravenously.
4. Usage: Use the prepared solution within 8 hours.
5. Storage: Store below 30°C.
