AUROSIL (polydimethylsiloxane 1000 cSt) is a Purified silicone oil specifically designed for prolonged tamponade after surgical treatment for severe retinal detachment. This high-quality polydimethylsiloxane-based intraocular tamponade agent provides optimal retinal support while maintaining excellent biocompatibility and minimal tissue interaction, making it the preferred choice for complex vitreoretinal procedures requiring internal tamponade.
