AUROSIL 1500 (polydimethylsiloxane 1500 cSt) is a Purified silicone oil specifically designed for prolonged tamponade after surgical treatment for severe retinal detachment. This high-quality polydimethylsiloxane-based intraocular tamponade agent provides optimal retinal support while maintaining excellent biocompatibility and minimal tissue interaction, making it the preferred choice for complex vitreoretinal procedures requiring internal tamponade.

INDICATIONS:
AUROSIL is indicated for the treatment of:
- Retinal detachment with giant tear
- Retinal detachment with proliferative Vitreoretinopathy (PVR)
- Proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR)
- CMV retinitis
- Traumatic retinal detachment.
