Aurovisc Plus (Hypromellose 2.4% w/v) is a sterile, clear, colorless, viscous ophthalmic solution containing 2.4% w/v Hypromellose. It is specially formulated to protect corneal endothelial cells during cataract and other anterior segment surgeries. The higher viscosity of Hypromellose 2.4% helps maintain the anterior chamber more effectively, providing greater stability and support during complex surgical manipulations, especially in eyes with weak ocular tissues or high risk of chamber collapse. Supplied in a pre-filled syringe (PFS), Aurovisc Plus ensures ease of use and sterility.
