INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Durg Preparation Protocol:

  • Vancomycin (1 mg/0.02 mL): Add 5 mL water for injection → Shake well → Withdraw 0.02 mL in a tuberculin syringe.
  • Ceftazidime (2.5 mg/0.1 mL): Add 10 mL water for injection → Shake well → Withdraw 0.1 mL in a tuberculin syringe.
  • Voriconazole (100 µg/0.1 mL): Add 1 mL water for injection → Shake well → Withdraw 0.1 mL in a tuberculin syringe.

Preparation for Procedure:

  • Disinfect the surgical site using Povidone Iodine.
  • Position the Wire Speculum for stable access.
  • Prepare syringes with diluted drugs as per protocol.
  • Use the Butterfly Needle for smooth and accurate intravenous injections.
  • Perform vitreous biopsy using the 20G Needle.
  • Administer antibiotics and antifungals carefully using the 27G Needle.
  • Maintain sterile conditions to avoid contamination.

Administration & Post-Procedure:

  • Administer Dexamethasone Injection to reduce inflammation.
  • Follow post-procedure monitoring protocols.
